Alliance for Organizational Psychology

Welcome to the Alliance for Organizational Psychology, a federation of Work, Industrial, and Organizational Psychology societies from around the world.  The Alliance has been established by the Organizational Psychology Division of the International Association for Applied Psychology (Division 1), the European Association for Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP), and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).

AOP Board Actions in San Diego - Tuesday, April 10, 2012
The Alliance's Board met ahead of the SIOP Conference on Wednesday, April 25, in San Diego.  Here are the high points (minutes and notes are on the History page):

1) The Board agreed to explore incorporation in Holland, Singapore, and the United States.  Milt Hakel will collect information about each option for distribution to the Board.  The Board will decide about where to incorporate by the end of July, 2012.

2) The founding partners may purchase items or services on behalf of the Alliance as a way to satisfy the operating capital needs previously established by the Board.  This will permit the Alliance to begin operations while incorporation is still underway.  Such purchases must be approved by the Board and proper documentation must be furnished to the Treasurer.

3) We are now organizing for an Alliance presence on the programs of member societies.  Upcoming conferences in Houston (SIOP, April 11-13, 2013), Munster (EAWOP, May, 2013) and Paris (ICAP, July, 2014) will be the focus for these efforts.
